Honestly I'd prefer having 1 ep every 2 weeks if it meant the plot moving forward at a reasonable pace.

tbh, i am missing the purpose of the god burial ground. all they did was pvp and nothing else. there was a little cultivation at the beginning but that was like a third of a whole 7min episode. so in short, why would anyone send his weakass disciples there with the knowledge that they all will be attacked by other sects, depending on tanyun alone isnt a good idea either

This episode has me wondering when the monkey king is going to come out.

That monkey was already at the adult stage of tier 4. So he will probably evolve into something really hellish and powerful. Plus his realm will also increase as well. I think he will probably come out when our MC will go to Holy or may be Sacred Gate.
For now, If writer awake that Monkey then our MC will become too much OP in the Inner Gate.
The Red Lion was just a Tier 2 Adult Stage Monster before the Dragon God gave him his inheritance. Now he's a Golden Dragon Lion with Tier 3 Young Stage. So just imagine that Tier 4 Adult stage Monkey will atleast become a Tier 5 Young Stage Monster. So it will make things too easy for our MC. That's why he still sleeping and undergoing his evolution.
